What it's about: Andy Kaufman (Jim Carrey), who performs one-man comedy shows in nightclubs, makes his first appearance on the television show Saturday Night Live. The title of the film comes from the 1992 song "Man on the Moon", included in the album "Automatic For The People", dedicated to the memory of Andy Kaufman by the REM group.
