In 1985, two young British climbers, Joe Simpson and Simon Yates, attempt to climb the Siula Grande peak in Peru, where no one had been able to climb it before. However, things go wrong and this climb turns into a struggle for survival for both of them. The documentary film, which is based on an interview with people who experienced the event and is transferred to the cinema from a real event, reflects a person's clinging to life and his determination to struggle despite all the difficulties. Touching The Void is among the productions that must be watched as a very successful production with its moral theme, successful editing and visuality.

  1. Mete Demiray says:

It's an event. miraculous salvation… In fact, spiritualism is “there is no miracle, it is a miracle until you find out why.” says. “There is no luck, or it is closer to being prepared.” says. “There is no coincidence.” says. If you show enough resistance, help will come. If you put the pieces together in this movie, it has everything I said. For example, when two climbers meet someone before they start climbing and agree to wait for them on the slopes below. In the movie, watch the mountaineering boy's self-talk, with the thoughts of the mountaineer boy in disastrous condition saying "ok until here" coming from his ego in the physical body, and the encouragement of his very lively inner voice that tells him "just hold on"… Watch and you will be impressed. The reason why you should not let anything go easy in life will become stronger inside you.
