We will count backward to enhance concentration and focus on what we are currently doing. You can repeat the affirmations with me.

10: I am focusing my mind on what I am about to do... 9: Gradually lowering the volume of all surrounding sounds... 8: Postponing every thought that occupies my mind to a later time... 7: Concentrating on what I am about to do with all my mind and heart... 6: Not allowing anything to distract my attention until I complete it... As I count down from five, I am only focusing on what is important. 5... 4... 3... 2... 1"
