Synopsis: “…The clocks stopped at 17 past 1. The daylight was cut off for a long time and then a series of light tremors… I think it's October… I can't be sure. I haven't used a calendar for years. Each new day is darker than the previous one… The weather is getting colder and colder, and the world is slowly dying. No animals survived. Plants are long gone. Soon all the trees in the world will be destroyed one by one. Refugees pulling wheelbarrows on the roads, armed bandits, rush to find fuel and food. Within a year, fires started in the hills, then crazy hymns. Cannibalism was rampant. The biggest fear is cannibalism. I'm usually worried about food, always food… Food, cold and also our shoes. Sometimes I tell the child old stories of courage and justice. It's pretty hard to remember though... The child is my guarantee, that's all I know. If it is not God's word, then God does not speak at all…”
In the movie, which was transferred from the book about the future doomsday to the cinema, the struggle for life of a father and his son is told.
